Uncommon Wealth

Dear Mr. Kalmadi,

Watch carefully,
Around you. At some distance.
You will see, a people waiting to be.

Listen carefully,
Near you. Just around the corner.
You will know, they are yet to see.

Smell carefully,
In the vicinity. Infact, outside your doorstep.
You will breathe, the foulness of inequality.

Touch carefully,
Their hands. At your home when they come.
You will feel, the sweat and dirt of servitude.

Only if you knew,
that wealth is an uncommon phenomena
in this country of a billion and few.

You would very graciously stop your games.

But then again, ignorance is bliss.
